Gilles Fumey is professor in geography of food cultures at the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
He has been in charge of the masters program in Food and food cultures at this university. His research focuses on food product identity and the geography of culinary cultures in the world. He now co-supervises the Food section of the Space, Nature and Cultures lab at CNRS.
